I have a 94 V6 4Runner 2WD. I am told by a tire dealer they have 7" wide rims, and they want to sell me P235/75-15 instead of the stock P225 (for the same price). Will this affect handling/mileage/wear noticeably?

They are 10mm wider then the 225. You wont notice anything.

235's will be slightly taller than the 225's, if the aspect ratio is the same (ie. 235/75 versus 225/75)
Handling shouldn't change and if you're light on the throttle you might get a bit more MPG.

My 1992 2wd PU has 195 75 14 but I got rid of the crappy stock wheels and put on a set of mits eclipse rims and they look like they were made for the truck. There are tons of old rums that fit the std. pu
