235/75/15 vs. 31's? Much gearing change?

Well my 31's are about half tread but the fronts are bald. So me and my dad started talking about tires. He doesn't want me to get 31's again. He said 235/75/15's. One size above stock. I wanted 32's with 4.88 gears. I am getting BJ spacer and the back is lifted all ready. But I am not buying the tires, he is. 32's are a lot bigger than 235/75/15's. A lot bigger than my 31's now. The added power from the smaller tires would be really nice to. I woundn't mind getting 31's and maybe like 4.56's. I want it to be big, stick out, you know. It sits up decent now with back lifted but I want the get BJ spacers to level it out. What size do you all think I should get?

Yeah but my won't let me get 32's. I got bald 31's and I would like some lower gears. Not really more power it would be nice but I want to be able to hold a speed going up a hill. I got 2 1/4 flowmaster pipe and a high flow cat on there.
