Not sure if etiquette is to bump an old thread or create a new one so I just chose to bump an older relevant thread. I’ll start by saying I’m an idiot! I have a 94 22re that has been rather tappy when compared to my 84 22r so I decided to do a valve adjustment. In doing so I inadvertently set 2 exhaust valves to the intake setting of .008, I suppose the good news, if there is any is that I only pulled out of the driveway and backed it in, no other driving was done and it ran fine during this period.I intend to make the proper adjustments tonight, but my concern is whether the damage is already done.
Any insight would be appreciatedJ

Hell no they're not messed up. First time I did my valves I did them all backwards and when I fired it up it sounded like a skeleton dancing on a glass table. You're fine. Just readjust them and enjoy!
