22re throwing code 57

My 87 4Runner starting running like crap today... Ran great made a 20 min drive and shut it off (still ran great just arrived at destination) sat for 15 mins or so. Came back out fired her up and it's got a low very rough idle. Idles at 300-400 rpms and will stall out after 15 seconds or so of that..

Smooths out a bit when revving it up but can still feel the "miss"

Drove her the 20 mins back to the house. While on the highway cruising at 65 steady idle it would give me the check engine light. But once light turns on I put pedal to the floor and light will go away. Did this 3 times on the drive home.

Got home just checked for codes.
Gave me a code 57..... Never heard of a code 57 and can't find any info.. Any ideas?

I suppose it could be code 5 and 7... Which is TPS and o2 sensor?

Just seems like a rather short pause between the 2 but maybe I'm crazy..

There is no code 57. Take another look at the blinks, then go to EG1-114 of this link...

http://htftp.offroadsz.com/marinhake...26diagnosi.pdf

All the codes are listed.

I'm 100 percent positive it was the numbers 5 and 7.. Watched it over and over.

I thought there wasn't a code 57 so it must've been code 5 and code 7..

Pretty stumped tho now. After running codes I reset ecu and let it sit for about 2 hours.. Fired it up and it runs flawless. No check engine light or codes stored. Not a single miss.

Drove it for about 45 mins after this and haven't had any problems. Through all rpm range and speeds up to 75. No hesitation or anything...
