22re suddenly wont idle
My truck always runs great. I take great care of it and it takes care of me....hell if it was cold, Id let it use my blanket. Out of nowhere, it wont idle. If I come to a stop, it chugs a few low rpms and dies. I checked carefully for vacuum leaks, adjusted the idle, and everything seemed fine. A couple miles down the road, it wont idle again. I cleaned the TB, no change. It runs fine while driving, but nothing seems to help the idle problem. Im thinking Idle valve, but why cant I compensate for that with TB adjustments or idle air screw? Any ideas yall?

No problem!
Also another thought that struck me- if you can reproduce the idling issue by applying brakes, another thing to try would be pulling the brake booster vac line at the intake and capping the hole on the intake (temporarily). Don't drive it like that, though. It effectively disables the brake booster and that is probably (definitely) dangerous! If that then keeps the car from dying, it means you have a bad brake booster.
Good luck & let us know what you find!

Did you get this issue resolved? Mine does same thing runs great than all of a sudden wont accel and will die. Did note that if I just cycle key on /off / on real fast it will jump right back up and good till next time it dose it. (85 efi)
