22re running rough

I will try and keep this short. I bought an '87 4runner in April with a fresh rebuilt motor. I noticed it started leaking oil. Cleaned everything off and found the timing cover was leaking. I torn everything down and replaced the timing cover. While everyhting was torn down I sent the head to be checked and cleaned. Head shop called and said number one exhaust valve was not seating, I told him to fix it. Got everything back together and it started running rough. I checked the timing, timing was @ 5 degress BTDC. There was no vacummn leaks. It has new plugs. Ran a compression check and found all the cyclinders were @ 175 PSI except for cyclinder one which was @ 100 PSI. I adjusted the valves and the pressure was still @ 100 PSI. I performed a wet test on cyclinder one at it went up to 150 PSI. I know this normally means rings, but I had no problems with it before I tore it down. Any suggestions to go from here would help, thanks! Maybe I should fix my $300 '85 SR5 4runner I just bought and swap parts?
