Good day and thank you in advance for your input! My 22RE blew and I have found a donor truck. Can I take the 22RE from the donor w/ manual trans and put it in my truck with automatic? Kinda new at this, thanks!!

You are going to need book, FSM or one from the auto parts store. The long block is the same.

 

It's not hard at all if you're mechanically inclined. Basically strip both to the long blocks and swap.
