Bad news folks....Drove it to work today (25 miles each way) and noticed a small drip underneath. Drove it a few miles across town at lunch and noticed again. Checked inside the bay and yep, the leak is back

I guess I'll just keep an eye on the coolant level and keep topping off until it gets worse and I need to tear into it. I have so many other projects I'd rather do than deal with a new HG job right now...grrrrrr.

Yeah honestly I'd just park it.. If it's leaking from the outside then it probably won't be long before it completely comes apart in there.

An update - I ended up diving in last month and doing an OEM gasket, new hoses all around, and an ENGNBLDR Street RV head with 268* cam. I also did the battery swap and am installing a supra AFM, plus I installed a GM alternator.

This is the second thread on it (the first got "stuck" at 7 pages and is linked to in the first post):
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ake-ii-267322/

I'm really close to buttoning it up - just need to finalize wiring, install distributor, fluids, check vacuum hoses, and go.

Wanted to update this thread since I hadn't...and ask once more - I got new head bolts....and torgqued to 58 ft/lbs per FSM. Do I torque more to 63 ft/lbs at this point since i have new bolts?
