22re maf sensor problem....

I intended to clean my MAF senson but i didnt do my research before hand i unscrewed the connector and pulled out the whole thing i noticed it was obvious i did sumthing wrong so i cut out the silicon around the top cover to expose the inside i noticed that the two small metal parts that are sodered together broke apart frm each other i made sure they where touching when i reassembled the MAF the truck is running just fine but i would feel better if i could put it bak the way it was.The only thing is that when im drinving it the check engine light comes on for a few seconds then turns back off. So now my question is will my MAF sensor be ok or do i need to replace it now because of the small sodered parts that came apart. Please help i need to take my yota on a trip soon and i have to make sure its in perfect working order.

It's hard to say if you broke anything. It sounds like you might have, or at least broken a solder connection that holds a part in a certain spot. So now you might have some unwanted play between connections, causing the CEL to light up.

Can you re solder them, or are they in bad shape?
