22RE idle issue

So i put a new engine in a few months ago and runs good, but every now and aging when i stop say like waiting at a light my idle will drop( about to cut off) and come back up about every two or three seconds but if i tap the gas it will run fine so i just did not bother with it.
But then at SETO this weekend my idle was going crazy. For one ,every time i stopped the idle will be fine for two seconds then drop to were its about to cut off then go back. Every single time i stopped on the trail. Any ideas?

Uhg. I KNOW this has been covered lots and lots!!

Buuuut...

Turn your idle down BELOW 1000 rpm. Make sure you have full coolant.

i got the same problem. revs up to 1800 rpm then drops down. there was another thread on talking about the same thing. If i find it i will post it up. Does yours stop that problem when the AC is on? works for me...

Guaranteed your idle adjustment is set too high. If its happening with the AC on, then your AC idle up screw is adjusted too high.
