Yeah I do know! Remove knock sensor. The using an ohm meter make sure there is no continuity between the terminal and the body of the sensor. If there is replace the sensor! How do you like them apples! And yes I have know what a oscilloscope is and have used one!

given your description "a knock sensor generates a voltage then it is 'shocked' by knock, ping etc.", you can't determine if it is good or bad by, as you said: "using an ohm meter make sure there is no continuity between the terminal and the body of the sensor"
one with some background in electronics would tell you that your 'test' procedure is analogous to testing a microphone for frequency response by measuring its resistance.... and they won't tell you that because it is wrong...
and why I asked if you had an oscilloscope.

And the original question was:
"Were about is the engine ground at on a 22re? I hvae check engine code 25! So Im starting with the easy stuff first! So if you know were the engine ground it please let me know! Thanks, 94toy4x4fever"

And... I guess you didn't read I'm 38 and have designed and/or have modified electrical systems on RV's between 1993 to 1995.... I have worked on and modified electrical systems for 'cell-phone' and other 'wireless' towers from 1995 and up to and including today- I'll be boarding a a plane in about 8 hours to take me to work on several 'mediaflo' sites.
A few years ago IBEW made me an 'apprentice' and 2 weeks later awarded me 'journeyman' status. I quit the union and they keep sending me shiznit to get me to re-associate myself with them.
...and you haven't even mentioned "piezo-electric" yet.
