22re Dies in gear

It runs awesome until it's in gear then it dies on me... I drove it in 4 low for a minute trying to climb over a log in 2wd, nothing. Then i went forward and it shut off. if i start it it will start then just die immediately afterwards.

I adjusted the TPS and it seemed to fix it.

Now gas is dripping out of the filler neck. I did fill it up and put in 44k the other day but drove it about 20 miles.....

Tps was in spec too.

would you like a dynamic Murasama-Toyota 22R-GTE R-EGGFIHR/MASS AFM/TCCS-HFI diagram???

HFI stands for "Hydraulic throttle body Fuel Injection"

R-EHGGR Means Egg-based Hydraulic throttle body Fuel Injection with dynamic intelligence and dynamic VVTL-i TWIn CAM...

Mine runs like crap, and sounds like it's carbed after I sprayed half an aerosol can of high-quality non snake-oil carb cleaner in the air filter box... without the filter and with the engine off... I can lick the carbon deposits out of the exhaust if I want to, but running a plant through my engine first is not what I want to do, so I just use my hands and fingers and wash 'em off with Fast Orange...

Fix your exhaust system to stop the rich burn and burn lean for a few days to crystallize-quench-strengthen your engine...

then...

maybe... you'll ask me... to help out, again, and maybe, you should replace that fuel pump...https://www.yotatech.com/forums/imag...s/grouphug.gif

I love you guys... you are all so wonderful...

Thanks, Boss, for letting me come back (that's Corey)...

I'll have to tell you about Nikita, my old red '85... maybe write a viking story and illustrate a Viking-style Garfield comic strip with Toyota stuff... post it sometime...when it's done...

I'm 25% Norse in real flesh-and-blood life!

FEAR MY 22R WRATH...

I will burn your engine... if I want to. But I don't...

JAVE a Hot RIze DAY, MON!

Now i am looking to see why the truck won't run unless you keep the starter engaged. It will stumble on its own for like 2 seconds, then die...
