Man just give it time. I actually never even noticed another Toyota in town when I had the "yuppie rig" (2000 runner that was freaking loaded with options, that I traded a 1997 1 ton Ford four door 4x4 diesel up on 38's for). When I sold that one and bought the 86 pickup, and found this site, I started seeing more of them and the 1st gen runners always looked so..... "free" I guess? Like they were ready for the trail or beach or something outdoors. After that I started looking for a Royal Blue 1st gen with the grey interior and I had NO plans to mod it or offroad it. Just keep it stock and simple so I could pull the top off once in a while and cruise a gravel road or two.

Well........ this sort of thing gets into your brain and after seeing BigBlues rig I started modding. It seems that after doing all the mods I have more folks wanting to buy it.

Oh and just because I'm a picture whore....

1500$ the day I bought it.

In the middle of the build.

Now days the top stays on to hold my rack for the fuel/water cans, the spare, the axe/shovel and the high lift.

You'll be addicted just like the rest of us. Welcome to YT!!

Whats RB4R? lol. I actually was going to buy one before I got the white one. A college girl had it posted for $1500 said the clutch was going out, I told her I would meet up with her next day and give her cash. She agreed but never called back and wouldn't return calls, I guess she got enough calls to know it was worth more. I saw it on CL again a month later, for double.

And I can't paint it blue, then it will get dubbed "mini me" since I will heading to more outings and BBP and I both show up. I don't think I can take that kind of ridicule.

I tried as well. It might be too cold for him up here, even though, I am from Hawaii, you know.

Paint is not too high up on the priority list, now that my clutch is making the "cloooong" noise. And #1 is still the exhaust. I ordered up my full system on 12/15, and still waiting on the cat back.

Wait, can you be a RB4RRC member? (Rattle Can?)

You can but.. well... I'll laugh at you.

Just kidding. Do what you have to do to get the rig ready and we'll plan a run up to see BBP for a trip. Maybe this summer we can all meet up and do some wheeling and camping, perhaps some fishing up north.
