Hello everyone. Just bought my 1st first gen 4Runner. So far I love it. Had bald tires so I just put brand new BF Goodrich mud terrains on it. This rig will be my first build and my start to off-roading.

 

Nice truck. Looks real familiar. Did you buy it in North Carolina?

 

No I'm in Washington state but bought it in Oregon

 

Cool man. Any pics of the inside? What year is it?

 

I will probably post more pics later. It's an '88. Drove it about 300 miles home from buying it with no trouble. Can't find any rust and only body damage is a couple dings on the tailgate.

I'm up Seattle way and have been playing with my first first gen for the last year or two , great rigs . Mine came as a 3.0 5spd dlx model complete with the beginnings of head gasket problem that plagued the V6's of that era ....... Now It has a 3.4 , a set of 2016 runner rims and tires , in the middle of swapping in a SR5 gauge cluster .... there's a lot more but thought I'd drop a line sense we're in the same state anyway .
