1995 toyota 4runner issue

( I posted elsewhere but I figured it's better off in here )

Hello, New to the site but I have been on before but never joined. Last week me and my mate were offroading out in lake county. We were going through alright depth of water, we had stoped on dry land to work on my mates Dodge, my 4runner sat for at least 30 mins, when we got back in to start it it blew the EFI fuse. We left the truck over night and came back the next day, everything was all dry but it still was blowing the fuse. We towed it out of the woods and home. We then thought my Fue pump may be shorting and may not have been working, we droped my tank and hard wired the pump and it was still working. So we put everything back on and together and went to turn over the truck, However it will not turn over now and we dont know why. Any ideas?

If its blowing the fuse chances are you got a broke wire somewhere.... Oh and um you didn't have to drop the tank to do the fuel pump theres an access panel under the back seat for future ref....

Would of been nice to know that, we've dropped the tank enough lol

well currently it's not blowing the fuse, we can hear the pump kick on but when we turn the key, it makes a click and doesn't turn over, we checked the battery and battery conections and netiher are the issue.

Check to see if the oxygen sensor wire is ok , they are know to be the problem for the efi fuse. by the way its under the drivers side by the cat.

The o2 Censor was replaced less then a month ago, but we did look, the wires are fine to that.

We will check our starter and our wires to it tomorrow, I'll check back in with you to let you know if that was the issue. Thanks for the idea.
