1995 toyota 4runner code 63 problem

So this one kina has me stumped, 1995 toyota 4runner, auto trans, when it's cold, runs and drives perfect, shifts no problem. After a good half Hour of driving , OD light starts to flash and when I come to a stop, the trans doesn't want to downshift to 1st. I can manually shift it to first and it drives fine. I pulled the code, it's 63, which is #2 shift solonoid. So I swapped solonoids, and I'm still getting the same issue same code!! Yes there might be a chance that the other solonoid might be faulty too but I highly doubt it. Why does the heat trigger the code??

Code 63 translates:
"Severed No.2 solenoid or short circuit–severed wire harness or short circuit"

While a solenoid itself can short out or open, all the ECU knows is what's stated above: a problem somewhere in the entire No. 2 circuit. I'd start with a visual inspection of the harness, followed by putting your multimeter on the solenoid(s), followed by testing the harness end-to-end with your multimeter (looking for, you got it, shorts or opens).
