1993 Pickup "mushy" clutch
Hey guys, I have a 1993 Toyota Pickup, fuel injected 22RE.
Usually it shifts like a dream and drives perfectly, but this morning I noticed that the clutch pedal was rather mushy and had a lot of freeplay all of a sudden.
I remembered the drive home from work yesterday, the stick was unwilling to slide into each gear smoothly (cold trans) unless I really put the clutch in and gave the stick a little more force.
So, as soon as I pulled into the parking lot this morning, checked my clutch fluid. Its still topped off to the MAX line.
As I decided that I just needed to figure out how to adjust clutch pedal freeplay, I started messing with the stick a little more with the engine off. I could move the stick into all of the gears without using the clutch, which I don't remember ever being able to do before.
A little help?
