What's up guys, Toyota lover, and new 4Runner owner here.
Just last week, I picked up a 1993 4Runner that's got a great frame and body, but needs a bit of work.
It needs a water pump (engine pulled apart currently for this) power steering pump, shifter assembly/bushing (automatic) exhaust, tires, and the back door won't open. It also needs interior, but that can wait til It's legal.
I'm good at taking things apart and putting them back together, but I need advice, parts sources, general help, and friendly banter. I'm not a mechanic, but I work at a garage as a GS and I've been around cars my whole life.
My phone I was using to photograph progress is shot, but here's a pic of my truck and an old Camry for bonus points.
I paid $500 for the truck. I figure I can put $1000-$1500 into it and have a solid DD. What do ya think?
