Question 1991 Pickup Shock Options

Anybody have a preference for some OEM shocks or aftermarket stock location front shocks for a 91 toyota pickup. I have seen some OEM ones on lots of websites for around 60 dollars a shock. I also noticed they have shocks that they claim give up to 2inches of ride height more for about 6 dollars more. I am curious if anyone has bought these or possible the bilstein stock replacement shock. Thanks.

not sure about replacing with oems, but do a search as there are a ton of threads with shock info/preferrences that will tell you the ups and downs of each shock.

Lift shocks aren't worth buying as they dont actually give you much if any lift.

Don't bother trying to increase your height via a shock. The BEST shocks for the money are Bilstein (my personal favorite) and KYB GasAdjust. Anything else is way below the mark.

Tokico gas shocks RT trekmasters are an option. Better than originals, I can't compare them to Bilsteins, but they are a little cheaper. I got 4 for $180.00
