1990 wire harness and fuse panel

Hope this is in the correct place. I have a 1990 Toyota 4x4 truck, 22re, 5 speed, extended cab. I caught the fuse panel behind left side kick panel on fire ruining my fuse panel and melted the wire harness. I got a complete harness from about the same year 4-runner with same motor and transmission. The fuse panel seems the same but far more and different coloured wires on the harness. What years and models should I be looking for that would be the same as my truck so I can replace or splice in the wire harness and fuse panel?
Thanks

You need a harness and panel from a truck not a runner.

4Runners have extra things like tailgate controls, rear door locks/windows, sunroof?, rear blower, etc.

Only 1990 will be the same others might be able to be made to work but it is quite possible several wires will be different colors and in different locations

Even with the same year truck, the fuse panel harness is the main harness. Depending on what options your truck came with will vary the wires in the harness as well. To get the exact harness you have in your truck is behind the speedometer on a white tag. Chances of finding the exact harness is going to be hard to do as there are so many variances. I would stay with a 1990 model but if you have to get a different year, from 89-95 I would get the entire harness from bumper to bumper just in case they changed something and they did change something somewhere from year to year.
