1990 2wd suspension trans and drive train upgrade

Okay so I have a 1990 pickup Dlx with 2wd. Im currently rebuilding it and swapping in a 3.4

while i have it apart i want to upgrade the suspension rear gearing and trans the best i can without doing any serious modifications from stock. I might do a 2" body lift just to accomodate for the engine swap so i dont wAnt to lift anything at all. If anything id like to just level the truck out but improve the suspension for handling.

As far as the rear end i will be rebuilding it because everything else is grtting rebuilt so just looking for any advice on that as far as upgrading gears or what have you.

thanks in advance.
