1988 V6 Ex Cab 4x4 auto rear drive shaft..What other models fit it?!
When I swapped out my rear end I noticed that the U joint on my rear drive shaft on the transmission end is loose, I mean you can actually move it left and right and there is visible slop in the joint. Im noticing a lot of vibration and Im wondering if its all coming from a worn out drive shaft joint. Anyway, does anyone know what model trucks or runners drive shafts would fit my 88?? I'm assuming any V-6 x cab auto would fit but thought Id ask the experts before I try to find a new to me used drive shaft! Does anyone have one they would like to part ways with??? Can I just replace the joint on the shaft because the slip yoke and the rear joint seem OK?? Thanks again!

No one knows what other years or models rear drive shafts fit my truck?? Im not having much luck finding one for an 88, would it be safe to say that 88-95 ex. cab V-6 Auto trucks used the same rear drive shafts????!!

U-Joint replacement?
I didnt know you could replace just the joints, I thought you had to buy a whole new shaft, though I wonder if it is still cheaper or easier to just buy a used tight drive shaft, which is why Id like to know what models and years would fit my truck! How hard is it to replace the joint? It looks like the slop is not on the bearing side rather than the side with the holes that the bearings ride in look elongated, as far as I know when you buy a new U joint you just get the rebuild bearing side but I could be wrong! Im going to google it now.
