1988 Toyota pickup 2wd 22r running rich Cali smog computer
So I was driving my truck cali awhile ago and was sitting in a drive through and it all of a sudden started chugging blowing black smoke and then it died so I got is started and drove it home since then the carb had been gone through found a new computer swapped that in nothing changed checked vacuum lines they are fine only thing I see that seems odd is the sensor in the back of the carb dribbles nonstop I swapped it out and same thing checked the power going to it and it has power so idk what's going on and I miss driving this thing can someone help

Your post is not very clear. Please clarify. So after the carb work, it's still blowing black smoke and stops running? What carb work was done? Was it rebuilt?
Did you do the work? What sensor on the back of the carb? Pic of sensor. Sensor is dribbling what? Gas?

Is blowing black smoke doesn't stop running just idling extremely rough and it was a car rebuild by a Toyota shop twice two different people and it's the fuel cutoff solenoid is dribbling gas consistently I don't know too much about these engines

Here is the part # for the o-ring. It is still available thru toyota.21655-44101

When you pull the fuel cut solenoid you can easily check it by connecting it to the 12v battery. You should hear a 'click" if it's working properly.
But yes, external fuel leaks are dangerous. prcnctoyo is correct in pointing that out.

It's not an external fuel leak it's internal that solenoid dropping down the throat of the carb

Gas coming out of the fuel cut solenoid is not good, like fire hazard not good. I certainly wouldn't run it or drive it until you get that fixed. There's an o-ring on the fuel cut solenoid that should have been replaced as part of a rebuild. Maybe they didn't get one on it or didn't replace a bad one. Is the solenoid screwed in all the way?

Use the procedures in the FSM to test the deceleration fuel cut system, p200. Also test the AAP, p199.
Download a copy of the factory service manual (FSM). Get the one titled, 1984-1989 Toyota 4Runner FSM (This one is 1988 specific).

If it's not working properly maybe you could stick in a small ultrasonic cleaner and get it working again
