My 1986 pickup with 22r cranks but does not start.
I am getting sufficient fuel, but no spark.
I tested the distributor (incorrectly) and thought that was the problem.
Replaced that along with plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Still no start.
Now with those new parts, tested power from coil wire and got none.
Replaced the coil, still no start. Thought the only thing left is the igniter, replaced that and still no start. Not sure where to check next and now I'm just throwing parts at it.
