work in progress, custom convertible pics

I went all summer with no top and most of the time no doors, it rains in Wisconsin, and when it did my truck got wet. And man do you really get soaked if you are driving in the rain with no doors, that front wheel just showers you!

I will have some drop in cross supports to give the canvas shape on the roof, by chopping the hardtop I get to retain real windows for the rear seat people and eliminate some vinyl, I will still need a clear panel in back to be able to use the rear view mirror. I am probably going to have the canvas run all the way to the windshield so i can cut the roof out too, more sunshine=more better

oh yeah the reason for cutting out the center of the hard top, aside from more sunshine, is so i can still throw my dirtbike or motorcycle in the back

Why have the hardtop at all? Get a bikini top or just do without one period.
