Window down! Window down!

Window down! Window down!
No, really. My drivers side window is down for the count. I haven't dug into it yet but, the below video seems to be exactly what my problem is and what I need to do to fix it. Dude mentions he's used all kinds of adhesives and never found one to actually work and to just go buy another window. Has anyone had any better luck with adhesives? Anyone found something that works well? I'd really like to just reuse the glass that's not broken. Let me know. Thanks.

Any one? I've searched a bit and most places are saying to up silicone for bonding glass. I've also seen a few people claim JB weld with bond glass. I'd like to run to the hardware store after work tonight. Let me know if you have a recommendation. Thanks.

I have just used black silicone on the back window on the 4Runner .. never had an issue on the front windows ..
but I would suggest maybe a silicone spray in the window run , it will help with friction , and make the window slide in the channel much smoother .

Just to close the loop on this. I tore into the drivers side door and the window had completely separated from the bracket. I cleaned it pretty good and threw it together with some e6000 adhesive and let it cure for two days. Put everything back together last night and all seems to be working fine. Only time will tell if the e6000 holds up.
