Where should I get my parts?

I've got to replace the starter on my 84. The ignition contacts are worn out, so it won't turn off when I turn the key, I've got to stall it or pull the distributor plug. Where do you guys recommend I get the starter and the rest of my future parts? Not necessarily performance parts, but just operation parts like distributor cap/rotor, starter, plugs, blah blah...

Non performance parts I get from whoever seems to be the best or have the best service and best prices. Napa, Autozone, Shucks/Checkers are my places. I got a good Alternator from Napa. FWIW

I had to get a new steering rod recently because my old one bent on some trails I went to advance auto parts and got an real Toyota part. I'm not sure about there starters though.

advance auto by me is notorious for giving you the wrong parts, but as soon as you bring em back, you always seem to get the right one, never had a problem other then that...and their prices usually arent all that bad

I have had 2 Advance Auto starters in my runner and i always had problems with them. I went out and spent the extra money for a NAPA starter and i have had no problems with it so far. (5 months). The AA starters would giive out at 2-3 months.
