Just an option that would help get it back to its normal stance. I see what you are saying. I am just throwing out some options. I would say that is much better than a body lift.

I fully agree with the body lift comment....anything is better than that!

Just wondering, when did someone suggest this body lift?

it looks like your the first to even say 'body lift' in this thread, we have been talking about a suspension lift

That is usually one of the first things thrown out when a lift is questioned. Usually people are looking for the "cheapest and easiest" options. Not once did i say that you or anyone suggested it. I am sure that it would have been suggested sooner or later. Its kinda the same thing every time someone starts the what will it take for 35's or will i loose mpg's and power if i dont regear.
Calm down and realize your not the first or the 600th to ask this question.

i did not see it posted already, but many folks do the RUF lift for cheap. i personally do not know much about this approach, but essentially putting your rear leafs in front (RUF) and putting old boneyard chevy springs in back, getting several inches of lift. search it, it's been done a thousand times.

IMO, 31 or 32" tires are a decent compromise for performance and economy. i have never been stopped on a trail due to 31" tires not being enough. note that i am not a rock crawler, but i have been through many miles and years of rough trails on 31s. a gear change is not necessary for 31", so it is economical. but re-gearing for 31s (which i am doing now) should be pretty sweet according to many others.
