Was wondering if the Vane Air Flow sensor can be converted to the Mass Air Flow Sensor on an '85 22RE...Would make a snorkel MUCH easier to direct...Also, I have a hesitation under no-load conditions...Accelleration and decel are not too much problem, but cruise is like its got an intermittant "dead hole". O2 sensor code, and that's all...Tested VAF- seemed ok, even tried another known good VAF, and no improvements...Cleaned EGR port, and verified it's working...maybe TPS? I've replaced this one just about a year ago...It acts like it's not sure if it wants idle or cruise. Ideas?
