Top cowl panel how remove ?? Help

Top cowl panel how remove ?? Help

Hi; Im still rebuild my 1989 HILUX XTRACAB; I've try to remove front top cowl but I've found only the two screw un the top, the COWL cant remove, there is other information I need?
Can someone explain me? Thank you

its probably just wedged under the windshield moulding make sure all the plastic pins for the weather stripping are pulled too

Thank you; tomorrow I'll try to pull up the seal with a screwdriver to found the plastic pins.

sorry i ment the pins on the hood to cowl weatherstip. there isn't anything under the windshield crome (if i remember corectly) it should just pop up a little and slide out from under it.

WINDEDWALRUS, thanK you; I've understood my mistake, on my cab there was only 2 pins; I think it was a rubber spaces between cowl and the seal hood, the other pins was already replaced by previous repaint work!!
Finally I have removed the 2 pins and the cowl!! Thank you again!!

save those "spacers" and reuse them . it will help the cowl from "vibrating" and causing unwanted noise .
also be sure to reuse the weatherstrip/seal undernieth the cowl front edge ..

should be 2 screws and 3 clips holding the cowl on
