too many changes
I'm new to here but not toyotas, I purchesed an 85 truck with a blown up g52 tranny , I replaced the carnage only to find out that the prvious onwer destroyed the shifting linkage, runs fine won't shift, so I bought a 89' w56 since it uses the same rf1a transfer case,, at the time I did not know that they relocated the transfer case handle, not top to forward, I knwe that, when I tred to slide the two together I see that the shift forks of the transfer case go way to far into the tranny, so here is where I'm stuck do I need to get a different case, or shift forks? modify and shorten? help
now I'm really getting tired of this simple repair project, and have more money tied up in it than I'd like and havening installed and removed the tranny twice I'[m getting mad at this toy
my previous toy was an 82 and the only surviveing orignal parts were the wireing harness and the front axle and it never made me this mad to the day I sold it.
