timing on a 22r/20r hybrid?

You might benefit from a 38 more than me, I just have a header and turbo muffler. For me the smaller bores of the 32/36 probably works out better so it can keep intake velocity a lil higher. I haven't really driven mine much, and honestly never really watched the mileage that close, but I haven't noticed any real difference yet.
Anyway, glad you got it pretty much figured out.

Thanks... The 32/36 I have is in perfect condition ,where the possible 38 (i am just assuming that's what was on there) is a little beat up and need some tlc. That is why I threw the carb I had on there. I'll probably take a look at it and see what it is before selling it. If it's a 38 then I'll most likely keep it around and swap it out and see how it works.
I'm gonna take another quick video of it and I'll post it up. Takes about 5 minutes to do. I'm curious to hear the difference between the two as I'm sure a couple out there following may.
Jon, another quick question: On the webers, if you don't connect the electric choke then will it never full open up? Just kinda curious how that works. It'll fire right up whether I have it hooked up or not and in 20* weather as well.

When I had mine disconnected, it wouldn't ever really open up all the way, but I had a vacuum leak or 12 also. Just the heat in the engine bay will make it open some. The choke will set without 12v to it, the 12v is to warm the spring and let it release to open the choke butterflies and stop idling high.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably keep mine hooked up then. I did notice that when I hooked mine up it seemed that the carb got "noiser". Not sure if this is normal or no, maybe I have a the settings wrong or something. Just curious if you carb is "noisy".

It's louder now that I have it synchronous, but I never noticed a difference between choke hooked up or disconnected. My exhaust is pretty loud and I have Trail-Gear motor mounts and transfer case mount, so my entire truck makes noise.

mine is kinda noisy, almost sounds like a vacuum leak. I think that has something to do with the way the idle air circuit works, the sounds changes based on where the idle mixture screw is set at.
I accidentally had my choke power wire disconnected at one point and it never came off the high idle. If that helps you as far as the choke goes.
