throttle linkage issues

i have a 85 pu EFI. and my problem is this. the bracket that bolts onto the firewall that the throttle link runs through has broke. so when i gas in the linkage catches on that outter protector peice and so it wont let my pedal come all the way to a rest so it sits and revs. so i need a new bracket but i dont knwo what its called. or i could just like jb weld it back together as long as i make sure not to get any inside so the cable can move freely. any suggestions or helps?

Do you basically just need a new cable assy?

Well seems to me you have it figured out, so I guess im confused on the question here then. Just go to a wrecking yard and get a new cable assy (which comes with the bracket) or get a new one from Toyota. No sense trying to booger thin metal back together, it will never hold.
