stupid stuck intake manifold

hey guys my head gasket blew a couple of weeks ago and i've finally decided to take the head off and rebuild it and slap it back on, so i started to take the head off got everything off good and took all the bolts off the intake manifold (btw i almost took flight and bombed the bolt in the back topthe thing was a b**** to get off) and it didn't pop off like it should, the top kinda started to come off but the bottom part of it wont, all the bolts are out idk if im missing something or whats up, it was super irritating me so i stopped, so any suggestions on what to do so i can get back on the trails?? once thats off then i can just picker up and take it to the machine shop. thanks in advanced guys btw its a 1984 4runner with the 22r engine and a webber carb if that helps at all later

Are you sure theres not a hidden bolt that your missing ?, if not then maybe the old gasket is just holding it in place, sometimes after 25 years of things being bolted together they don`t want to come a part as easy as they should. just throwing out ideas.

I had the same problem with mine when I pulled the head off to do a head gasket. You said you had all the bolts out of it. There is one hex bolt towards the front where the thermostat sits in the intake. That is probably what is holding you back.

I took all of the 12mm bolts and nuts off of it and couldn't seem to get the intake off and then I realized there was a long hex bolt holding it on there. Hope that helps. I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
