starwheel adjuster cable for rear drums

hi, first post here.
i have been driving around with one rear wheel braking for too long, so today i started the rear brake job. after finally getting my drums off the left starwheel adjuster fell out on it's own(that's why i had no brakes). looks like the cable/spring that keeps the tension on the starwheel adjuster snapped.
i have searched google for hours for this part but none of them show me a pic of a cable with a spring for parts. all the recommended 1984 Toyota Pickup Drum Brake Self Adjuster Repair Kits don't have parts that look like the ones i removed.
is i possible that it was redesigned and they don't use the cable anymore? anyone know where to find these parts?

thanks
the truck is an 85,87,88 sas longbed w 330 k, the drums are 10" and the starwheel is mounted on the bottom of the pads not the top

did it have the cable/spring part? if so, did you replace the cable?

The rear brake hardware is still available for your toyota. Go look at rockauto.com as a reference to see what parts are available. I usually replace all the springs and cables when I did my rear brakes on my 85 4x4.
