Scratched Glass - How to repair?

Howdy again all! I was pondering this situation, and decided to post up this question to you:

My Runner has 22 year old windows, there are some scratches on them (mainly the back window glass) - How can they be fixed/filled in?

IIRC, don't you use like a car wax or something to 'buff' the window and the scratches will be 'filled' in with the wax compound and 'disappear'? I am not trying to completely fix the scratches, more so I am trying to 'hide them'.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

John

Wow - Actually removes the surface of the glass. Thanks for the tip! I will check into this! Have you used something like this before?

I was just thinking there was some 'Backyard Mechanic' method of solving this problem.
