Roll on bed linner ?

O.K. Has anyone ever used "Dupli-Color" roll on bed liner inside the cab along the floor board. My neighbor said its not a good idea because of some of the chemicals inside might catch fire by being so close to the motor/trans/T-case area do to heat. Is there any truth to this and has anyone ever used this piticular roll on bed liner before thanks. Already did the rear cargo area and along the top lines of my 85, 4 runner and it looks great.

I would go for it man! I think it would take quiet a bit of heat to make the bedlinner catch fire! There have been alot of guy on here use ths stuff all over there trucks! But I would also go with hurculiner i just did the back of my 4runner and it worked out great! But it is you truck so do what you want!

Been done plenty of times, you'll be fine. If your floor board was to get that hot, any sort of floor covering would burn. I've had transmissions bad enough that they make the cab uncomfortably hot on their own and the vinyl mat on my floor is fine.

I have it on the cab floor of my 4runner and have had no fires yet. If your floor gets that hot then you have some serious problems.
