Is there any reason at all why you should have to use a puller to get your axles out of your housing. It seems to be a struggle with my set up. Any info is needed. Birfeilds are lined up the knuckles. thanks for the help please!

No reason at all really. As long as the flat spot is lined up with the birf indent it should easily pull out. Have you tried hitting it with your purse?

If you have to beat in the axles with a hammer or use a pulled to remove them your axle housing is bent.

Thanks for all the input. I know this is talked about in my other thread but figured I could get a better response on that particular subject by starting this one. Picked up my new housing last night. Got one from an 85 model. Hope to be wheeling again soon.

I'll read through the rules again.
