That does look really nice, good work. I'll be painting mine this summer. If it turns out half that nice I'll be happy.

Trust me the yellow will be gone as soon as possible infact im going to work on it right now.

Thanks everyone. I really wasnt sure if I was going the right direction with this. when I was demasking it, I thought oh no what have I done. Then I stood back to take a picture, now I cant stop looking at it. I believe this paint really sums up my ideas for just about everything I do, I enjoy paying respect to things from the past but always try to include my own little twist.

I believe AustinTaco said his buddy did all the tube work himself. so it looks like they are custom.

Yeah, Cam owns Krawltex here in Austin and he designed the sliders, and the front and rear bumpers. He's really good with custom tube work. He added the side and corner protection to my 84, and then did the same style when he made his stuff.
I have hit the corners and the sliders on some rocks and they have not bent....yet.

I used green 3m masking tape and a roll of masking paper. I masked out my pattern with 1/4 inch tape then used the paper and some 3/4 tape to cover the areas i didnt want painted. I have used news paper in the past but have had issues with the paint bleeding throught the news paper so this time I used the masking paper from a local body shop supply store, but i believe I saw some at walmart.

When do we get to see the finished product?! And when can you come do mine?

Btw, what colors did you use? I'm seriously thinking about doing the same on my truck or something similar. It just looks so darn amazing. . .

And I'd love to have that slider/rear bumper combo!!!

The colors I used are the Krylon Camouflage olive, Kahki, Brown, and Black

Im sure if you call KrawlTex they can hook you up with a set of sliders and bumpers

I like it too but I was atleast hoping to get my whole truck painted before i started destroying it. It was just one of those situations where you have to make a decision, Do I go back? or Do I push through? Obviously you see my decision, But why did it have to be the good side first?
