nice!

haha Awesome find! THanks for posting!

Is it just me or do publicity agents seem to exaggerate?

"Fits water skiis in the cargo space of the XtraCab!"

"Big, powerful 2.4 liter!"

"MUSCLE!"

"The new rear suspension for a ride so comfortable... it doesn't even feel like a truck!"

haha... dunno about that last one.

I think i found it..."also in the xtra cab the convienince and luxury automatic locking hubs." I didnt think SA trucks has those!

Plus the skis...isnt that what you have a bed for?? And what are you going to need skis for if this truck can only tow 2000lbs...thats not a very fun ski boat!

And the double wall bed construction...isnt that why the beds rust out on these trucks?

I think thats eveything I saw

Oh, and about the ride and powerful 4cyl...in the eightys, this truck was concidered powerful...I mean look at the chevy luv..it had like 80hp! And the ride...i bet it was better than some trucks in that time period!

Here's a scan from a 85 brochure. That's the boat to go along with the water ski's.

Actually, the 85 x-cab truck that is sitting on blocks in my backyard had the auto hubs standard. I let another yota friend take that axle because it had those hubs, and I am putting in anothe axle from the 85 4runner sitting next to it. Yeah, auto hubs suck

My 84 4runner, the one in my avatar, had manual hubs on it, even though it's got every other option except the winch. However, my 89 had the auto hubs and that's the first thing that went wrong with it. That's my only personal experience, but it seems to be the consensus that its not a matter of if they fail, but when they fail.

420? Why is that funny? Smoker's Holiday? Hmmm... just like costumes, why only once a year?

Actually the body swap starts this Sunday!

(For those that don't know... turning 84 xtra cab into an 87 4Runner w/ 85 shortbed frame. Yea, I take meds.)
