new carburetor

Hiya all! Although it could be a while before I really DO this, I would like to put a new carburetor on. My simple question is, was there a difference between 22R carburetors on automatics vs. 5 speeds?

What about 2WD vs. 4WD?

I ask this because the auto parts store's website lists 3 diff carbs. And the difference between two of them is about 50 bucks. The cheaper one, though, only talks about 2WD automatics in the 'general description'.

try these guys for a rebuilt carburetor with a lifetime warranty. They look like brand new when you receive em and there prices arent bad at all. customer service is great. I think they sell webers too if your looking to go that route

Heck, sounds like a plan to me! But aren't they expensive? I'm, for lack of a better term, froogle. That National Carbs place looks like a good deal though. Lifetime warranty and CHEAP CHEAP!!! $185 bucks? That's pretty hard to beat, supposing the quality is exceptional.

Heh, yeah they are expensive.

But I have seen them for sale on craigslist. If you know how to tear them apart that would be the way to go.

But if you wana go really cheap, there's always the junkyard. Who knows you might get lucky.
