lol yea thats about the only cosmetic damage other then being 26 years old. The guy i bought it from just had it painted, 2 days after he had it painted a tree fell on the hood and gave it 3 tiny dents its to minor to worry but funny to see

I must be one of the lucky ones. I don't have that crack in my dash. Although my whole interior is faded and the doors are real brittle. Not sure if 92Toy has one in his sons 4runner. I think alot of them have that crack.

Nice truck too.

My old blue 86 had a crack there. I like that bench cover, I need to get one of those. Does anyone have any idea where I can find one?

Nice truck btw. The 80's models are my favorite.

you can get those seat covers at autozone dood and i hate the bench seat i can feel the back support rod riding up my bum it hurts if your sitting there long enough. for instance climbing the mountains between phoenix and apatche lake loaded down with camping gear?

My bench seat is still really comfortable. But my truck has a alot less miles and I'm only about 5 8". That said, the ride from Massachusetts to Colorado was a little rough.

How much did you pay for this if you don't mind me asking? Have you had to do any work to it?

well guy originally had it listed for 3800, when i found it he had it for 3500 i got it from him for 3200 cash in hand

when i got it from him he had tuned it to where it was running what sounded like fine, after driving it through a park doing brodies something happened i lost power and it didnt want to run at all... I took the truck to a small shop called carbs unlimited he rebuilt my carb and found out that all the vacuum lines where hooked up wrong so he put top of the line bmw line in it.

After he went through all of that he found that 2 lines on the bottom of the intake were completly filled with dirt. Meaning whoever did the rebuild took the thing off and sat it in dirt. then hooked everything back up as fast as they could not knowing what was where.

Then after that he called me with another problem.. As stated in one of my previous posts i was getting backfire from #2 cylinder which was killing my other chambers.. Doing some research and going with what made since i pulled the valve cover off and checked my valves.. they were completly and utterly fudged up. After adjusting them to factory settings and hooking everything up it ran like .. mostly new but thinking that it was probably running wrong for a long while i drove it around and it burned out the extra built up crap. now it runs like a brand new truck,

If the bench seat is shot, why not swap in some bucket seats ?, it would be a nice improvement.

With a little fab work you can make just about any bucket seat work in your truck, but most all first and second gen truck or 4Runner bucket seats will bolt in.

I would be embarrassed to say what I tossed hours before the move.
