missing plug and green/red wire????
Gents,
1985 manual 22RE.
I am troubleshooting the good ol "run rich at start" and "hesitation that gets worse once warmed up (closed loop)" issues. I'm using all the advice on the forum (CSI, TPS, MAF, etc.) and am not stuck yet.... however,
I came across the plug shown below and am curious if it is for testing or if i am missing something.
I also came across that green/red wire which the manual said goes to either the ignition or ECU.
the pic is from underneath the right fender, looking forward.
any insight on these two would be much appreciated.

I looked at your profile and going by the pics and your avatar, yours is an 85. The first picture from my experience has never been used on a manual transmission so from what I have guessed from talking to others it is for automatic transmissions.
I seen a thread yesterday about the 2nd picture with the jumper in it and meant to make a note of it for myself, seems to me it is for testing purposes if I recall right, but am not sure about it. 86 is set up the same as your picture, so I am interested in it as well. Will be keeping an eye on this thread so I will know as well.
