lc stage four cam

I have a chance to get a motor with stage four cam shaved head and over sized valves. My ? is has anyone ran a similar set up in there truck before

Depending on the price, i'd jump on it. If its running and hasn't been pulled and you know its a good running motor than i wouldn't hesitate to pay around a 1000 for it. Thats with low miles and low abuse.

I wouldn't touch it...sounds like someone else's problem. To shave a head and not change the compression or the timing is tough to do correct.

Add on top of that a cam that changes the throttle completely...yea no thanks.

It has the lc adjustable timing gear and this is a running motor
