larger front brake conversion help

hi guys im having issues on my front brake conversion .

i have a 85 extended cab pick up with high steer and 6 bolt TG knuckles .

but to add a monkey to the mix now the front axle is now a 83 front due to total damage playing in the mud up here bent into a smiley lol

so seeing as im swapping all my goodies over i wanted to also beef up front brakes ..

and ran into a issue im using 95 4 runner rotors and brakes but also found i had to use the hubs due to mounting holes lining up on hubs to rotors .

my 83 axle is too small of a pattern .

they mounted on spindles great but now calipers are a good 3/4 inch off from mounting point on knuckles .

i think im using wrong spindles due to offset any ideas?

thanks
wayne

You are using the wrong rotors, and now the wrong spindles.

Use FJ60/FJ62 rotors, and 4Runner calipers. Use the stock spindles from the 83.

i might be wrong aain looking at axle it looks to be 79-80 front axle because the rotors have 6 bolts holding them on spindles guess id need the 79-80 fj rotors now with ifs hubs and caliper ..

No.

89-95 IFS V6 Calipers
81-90 FJ60/FJ62 Rotors
79-85 Stock SFA hubs/spindles

That is what you need.
