Inspection Light

In the 80's, Toyota offered inspection lights for Landcruisers. There was an outlet that could connect a 12V Toyota light with enough wire to inspect around the engine. My 85 SR5 pickup has an outlet just below the engine hood latch. I was wondering how many other Toyota Pickups have these? Was this a factory option or did mine get installed by the previous owner?

By the way, this a cool option as I dont believe any other mfg. offered this and not even today. However, take that with a grain of salt because I havent done any research to verify.

I believe there are some GM vehicles (pickups & Suburbans) that have a light set up with a coiled cord.

yep I peek inside the suburbans at the upull when I walk past on the off chance to find one. Should be another thread that gives a few other target vehicles to check out.
