I got a FREE light bar!

One of my classmates in my toyota technician training class used to own an 88 pickup and he saved his light bar when he sold it. He found in his parents shed last week and gave it to me! I looked up the bar on ORW's website and it retails for $130! So now withen the last month I've gotten a free camper shell that probably would have cost me over $500 and now this! I feel like the luckiest person on the face of the earth right now!

Nice, I'm sure hes glad to give it to someone who will actually use it. Wish I knew some Toyota truck/runner drivers around here. Don't forget to post a couple shots.

I'll post the shots after I put the light bar on. Do you guys know if their are any special bushings that go between the bumper and the light bar? Also this guy is the only person that I personally know that USED to own a toyota. He doesn't anymore. So I'm on the same boat as you I don't know too many people in my area that are into toyota 4x4s

If it this style all you need to do is drill a few holes and mount it to the bumper with some heavy duty bolts and nuts I used grade 8 for the hell of it.

I used blue tape to mark where it mounts after holding up to the bumper then I cut some rubber from an old inner tube just to keep it from scratching up anything but don't think in the grand sceam of things it did anything more then give me a piece of mind.

same here. drill holes and that's it. i used a spooge of silicone at the holes to keep from having metal on metal.

PS...looks sweet OLHARLEY.

I'll have to borrow a camera my phone is jacked up but the light bar is on!
I also installed two 6" KC daylighter 100 watt long range lights on it. Like I said I'll post pics of it when I get home tonight.
