my bottom end is dome piston. and recently my exhaust studs have stripped out and i re helicoiled them. they stripped again. So now i am just gonna go ahead and get a new head. but my question is i cannot find a 84 cylinder head. are the 85-95 the same even tho newer motors are flat top? Basically will the newer head affect anything? what can i do what do u recomend

 

the 85+ head will not work on your block.

and from what i remember no one re manufactures the 84 heads.

Best bet would be a junk yard.

google yoda jims they always set me up right, but its alot easier for me cause im local to them.

i have an 84 head im not using, only thing is im not sure if its good or not.
