I have a stock suspension sas 85, all my steering is worn out, I want to get rid of all my push pull steering setup and plan on lifting it down the road, can I run a high steer kit with no lift?

 

Likely not without a lot of work. Problem is you need room to fit the drag link and tie rod between the springs and the frame. You could notch the frame there for clearance and/or run tall enough bumpstops to prevent them from hitting. I had high steer installed with ~3" lift on my '85 and it just barely fit, I had to fiddle with the height of the steering arms to get enough clearance above the springs to keep the drag link from rubbing, but keep things low enough to stop the drag link from hitting the frame.

As is the drag link rubbed pretty hard on the passenger side springs at full droop:


And the nuts on the pitman arm (both ends) hit the springs under full compression (you can barely see the scraped paint on the springs where the contact was):
