First off i've searched here for this with no luck, So i hope i'm not beating a dead horse. I'm going to regear my 4 runner with 488s, just looking to see what gear manufactor you guys like, have had good luck. I know it has alot to do with getting the gears set up right. What do you guys think? This is a 50/50 dd/trail truck. I'm like everyone else, looking for the cheapest, best product out there

 

$200 an axle seems good to me.

I've put about 15,000 miles on my Yukons so far, no problems. I would urge you to consider buying 5.29's instead though, I went 4.88's because I had 33's at the time, because I was in denial about my tire size changing, now I'm going to 35-37's and going to be back at being under geared.

 

I have run 100,0000 Miles + on 4:88 Richmond Gears with no problems. Do not buy any gear setup with a spacer.
